Working with and helping people and trying to improve their lives has been part of my "raison d'etre" and has given me pleasure for as long as I can remember. It is probably partly why I have been involved in amateur musical theatre for many years and what led me to have a career as a teacher. Shortly before I retired, I was fortunate enough to become a Cruise Consultant and combine my passion for helping make a difference in peoples' lives with my then-newfound passion for travel - "Oh, the places you'll go!" Because he was also semi-retired, my husband, David, became involved in the business as well and we work together with our team of Superstar Navigators of Spectacular Vacation Experiences to help you plan and realize the vacations that make your life worthwhile and create lasting memories. We are truly passionate about cruising and have seen and experienced Alaska, Europe, the Baltic, Hawaii, Asia, the rivers of the Netherlands, southern France and China, and most ports in the Caribbean and have enjoyed time on over 60 cruise ships. Our bucket list at the moment still includes the British Isles, Australia/New Zealand and South America as well as more European waterways. While cruises are our specialty, however, we also work with clients who either wish to add a land experience to their cruise or who may prefer the more intense and focussed adventure of an independent experience or an escorted tour (either in a group or privately) of an area or who might enjoy something like an African safari - you dream it; we do our best to make it happen! David and I are both CLIA Accredited Cruise Consultants and I have gone on to achieve Master and Elite Cruise Consultant status; next step is that of Luxury Cruise Consultant. Although, as owners, we don't have a lot of time to take the many courses offered by each individual cruise line, we have sailed on all the Contemporary, Premium and Deluxe lines and are working on completing those in the Luxury market and, so, feel comfortable in learning your "why" (as in"why do you want to take this vacation?") and recommending the product that will "create goosebumps"!
