Since 1990, Dana has been involved in the cruise line industry in various capacities - both onboard and shoreside! She was one of the very first Canadians hired to perform as a dancer on the high seas for world-renowned cruise ship entertainment producer, Jean Ann Ryan, onboard Norwegian Cruise Lines! From there, she crossed oceans and continents to perform in various Broadway and Las Vegas revue-style production shows within the Cunard fleet. When retirement from a wonderful dancing career beckoned, Dana moved to the Entertainment Capital of the world, Las Vegas, NV. and for over a decade became an agent and entertainment consultant - directing and booking headline talent for top-shelf comedy clubs, casinos, resorts, cruise lines, and the International Special Event Society (ISES). Dana went on to produce and direct many headline variety acts for Nite Raiders Entertainment that continuously perform in many of the top cruise lines' theatres today! In addition, Dana has enjoyed working in hospitality and special event planning aspects of the cruise line industry, has also been a member of the Entertainment Department and Celebrity Life Activities Department on board vessels within the Celebrity Cruises fleet. Currently, Dana loves being a Cruise Specialist and Vacation Consultant while living in one of the most beautiful regions of the world - the Okanagan Valley in the city of Kelowna, in the heart of supernatural British Columbia! Dana particularly enjoys this opportunity share her cruise and travel industry knowledge and to satisfy her clients' most specific travel wishes and interests. Dana also has a strong focus on Women's Travel, organizing and escorting Ladies Only travel groups for gals who want to see the world with style, fun, and flair!! And although those old glory days of dancing upon the high seas are over 20 years behind her, Dana still loves to "kick it" on the dance floor! In June 2014, she won the Dancing With The Stars Competition at Sea performing the Cha Cha onboard Holland America's M/S Zuiderdam with a perfect score of four "10's" from the DWTS cast including judges Kym Johnson and Tristan McManus!
