I have traveled on Carnival, Celebrity, Holland American, Norwegian, Princess, Royal Caribbean, and Viking River on many different itineraries. I prefer to try a different ship & embarkation port, if possible; with a few exceptions to get the right itinerary! When people ask me which cruise line is my favorite, I always answer, “the one with the perfect itinerary and the timing that works for me, and offers what I haven't yet had time to discover and experience.” I have enjoyed travelling to various Caribbean destinations from ports such as Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, New York and San Juan. I have cruised Western, Eastern and Southern Caribbean. From the Dutch ABC islands (Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao) as well as other favorites such as St. Thomas, St. Marten, St. Lucia, Belize, Bahamas, St. Kitts, Antigua, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Costa Maya, Turks & Caicos, Dominica, and Barbados, just to name a few. I have enjoyed cruising from Vancouver to Whittier, Alaska in 2007, as well as Vancouver to Alaska with return back to Vancouver in 2022; and in the Mediterranean from Barcelona return (12 nights) in 2011 including Rome, Athens, Malta and Istanbul overnight and all the fantastic sites it had to offer. Also, from Barcelona Western route in 2019 (11 nights) Morocco, Canary Islands, Spain and Portugal. What an adventure they both were. In 2022 I returned to see more of Italy with a 7-night Rome to Rome with hotel pre and post cruise. One fantastic adventure was the Baltic 2018 (Northern Europe) from Copenhagen with Estonia, Russia, Berlin, Finland and Sweden on the itinerary. What a great itinerary with the highlight for me to be St. Petersburg, Russia. Wow! I returned in 2019 to see Norway, Scotland and Iceland also from Copenhagen, and I had a chance to revisit St. Petersburg and Estonia. A memorable adventure in 2018 took me to South America from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Uruguay and around Cape Horn, including the Falkland Islands up through to San Antonio, Chile. A fantastic cruise destination in 14 nights with a pre and post hotel to visit both Buenos Aires and San Antonio. The Pacific Coastal cruise from San Francisco in 2015 (return), as well as the Bermuda cruise from Boston to Montreal in 2014, are both highly recommended. The ease of getting around, and the beauty of the destinations, make for great choices for 7-night itineraries; and a change from the Caribbean. One of my favorite cruises for different feel and experience is the Canada/New England cruise I took summer of 2014 from Boston to Montreal. It was a pleasure to see so many new sites, and experience the entertainment brought onto the ship in a few ports! Bar Harbor, PEI, St. John's, NS and Sydney, NS, Quebec City and Montreal were all wonderful ports to experience, and so close to home. In 2023 I had a unique opportunity to sail from New Jersey (return) to 3 ports in Greenland (Nuuk, Qaqortoq, Nanortalik) St. John’s, Newfoundland and New York. The best overall itinerary for me would be the British Isles with a transatlantic voyage we enjoyed in 2019 including France, Spain and Portugal was as good as it gets, in my opinion. I am planning a return to the British Isles for 2024. My most memorable was the Caribbean family cruise I took Spring of 2016 with 14 family members and friends for 8 nights; or the big ship I took to the Caribbean with a friend in fall of 2018 and the shopping, dining and shows we saw, with easy to get around ports such as Aruba, Curacao, DR and Turks & Caicos or Cozumel, Costa Maya, Roatan and Nassau. In 2022 we got back into Ocean cruising in the Caribbean on a big ship with family, with fantastic entertainment and easy to get around ports closer to home. In late 2016 and early 2017 I traveled the Panama Canal (10 nights) and did a Transpacific (40 night) cruise from Australia to New Zealand, Tonga, Cook Islands, Hawaii and disembarked in San Diego. What an adventure that was with so much to see and do, cross the international date line and the equator, and do Groundhog Day twice! The biggest surprise, 40 nights flew by in no time at all. My long-awaited cruise was back-to-back cruises from Venice in 2017 (return) 14 nights - Adriatic for week 1 and Greek Isles for week 2. Wow that was amazing to experience Venice, Dubrovnik, Split, Kotor, Montenegro, Athens, Katakaloon, Santorini, Corfu and Mykonos. How amazing to cruise the waterways of Venice. I cruised the Hawaiian Islands from Oahu in 2012 (return) to experience 4 islands and all the beauty & cultural events it has to offer; and my 4th trip to Hawaii. In 2019 I experienced my first All Inclusive in Cuba for a destination wedding with friends; as well as a private charter yacht with a travel writer to the Abacos with two other couples. Both experiences were for 1 week, and were a one-of-a-kind opportunity to try something different, experience Cuba and private charters. During the most turbulent of times in the world, specifically the Pandemic of March 2020, I cruised 25 nights from Sydney, Australia with Brisbane, New Caledonia and Fiji on the itinerary. During 25 days of sailing and waiting for approval to dock and disembark, we crossed the International Date Line – 4 times. The cruise line kept us sanitized, safe and healthy and we ended up in Honolulu for disembark. We had fantastic South Pacific weather, good food, great entertainment and we were well looked after by the cruise line both during, and after the cruise. The cruise line paid for our flights to our home country and did a fantastic job during such an unprecedented travel situation. In November of 2021 we experienced our first River Cruise on Viking River from Budapest, Slovakia, Austria and Germany for 8 nights. What a great opportunity to see things right in the heart of the destinations, and a port excursion every day. In early 2023 I fulfilled a dream to sail from Cape Town 18 nights to Dubai. The itinerary included Mo
