Customer Testimonials

The Celebrity Solstice was the nicest ship we have been on and the first ship that we have been on that I felt I could stay on for longer than 7 days. The layout was very nice. Our room was in an excellent location. Layout of the room was very nice with a large bathroom. I thought that it was perhaps because we had a balcony that I enjoyed it but the library and other rooms were very inviting and you didn't have to walk through the casino at all to get to other areas of the ship which I quite liked. All rooms were tastefully decorated. The entertainment was not the greatest a couple of nights but the one show was better than the Cirque du Soleil show that I have seen. Service and food was excellent with better standard choices than on any ship we have been on. The Corning Museum of Glass was a really neat new thing that we have never had on a ship. I believe that Bryan told you how we lucked out on the location we were on the ship and the much larger balcony. The first morning out at sea, I had only been out on the balcony for about 5 mins and a whale spouted right in front of our balcony. The next day as we were docking in Porto Rico, there was a pod of dolphins that Daniel got lots of pictures of. We were surprised at how developed Labedee was but I found the people in Haiti very aggressive and pushy (not sure whether that was due to the recent happenings or if that is the way it always is.) The fact that they didn't have to tender in was a bonus. We certainly have enjoyed Princess Cay and other private stops more. Snorkelling at Princess Cay was definitely better (for free) Overall, I would highly recommend the ship. It is not for people who like alot of night life though (not that we went up to any of the later night bars) Thanks and we look forward to seeing you in the future. I certainly will let others no that we highly recommend you as well. Carol Carol & Bryan Feb 2010
