I am a person who loves to travel, and explore new places, and so Expedia Cruises was the perfect company to join, as I am an independent agent running my own business, but still part of the larger company and its special services. In the last few years I have become a travel consultant and a cruise specialist, using my travel experiences to help others plan their exciting trips, and realise their dreams as easily and as inexpensively as possible.

I have a width of experience, both by land and sea covering many continents:
I have cruised through the Panama Canal, the Caribbean Islands, Alaska, and the Mexican Riviera, as well as Hawaii, a popular destination for Manitobans.

With Azamara I travelled to the Baltic and St. Petersburg, along the Croatian Coast, and, on an exciting cruise from Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro where I watched the fireworks for New Year's Eve from Copacabana Bay. I have also sailed on Oceania, from Istanbul to Lisbon, visiting Greece, Malta, Sardinia, Spain and Portugal. In addition I have sailed on Holland America, Princess, Celebrity, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean, and Carnival cruise lines, enjoying so many different destinations and variations of what cruise lines can offer.

When I took my first River Cruise on Uniworld from Budapest to Amsterdam I found River cruising quite different from ocean cruising with its smaller ship and only about 130 passengers, daily stops and tours, and a more low key ambience. This I followed with another Uniworld cruise around Venice and Northern Italy, not a country so well known for cruising its rivers. Viking and Avalon in France and Switzerland, are other River Cruise lines I have enjoyed.

By land I have explored Europe, Australia, Africa (a safari), South America (and Machu Pichu) and many parts of North America. I have travelled extensively in Britain, Scandinavia, numerous European countries; New Zealand; Australia; Egypt; Japan and China.

In March 2012 I went on an amazing African Safari. It covered Giraffe Manor in Nairobi , the Wildebeest migration in the Serengeti, along with the “big 5”, Victoria Falls and Cape Town. Africa is a fascinating country, with beautiful scenery, magnificent animals and very friendly people.

Now, as I find more people wish to travel solo, I am going on a tour to meet with other people who wish to try a similar experience, and have the opportunity to meet other people who wish to venture to new places without having to pay single supplements.
