I have a passion for travel and new experiences which was encouraged by early travels in my youth. Born in Charleston, SC, my first memories were actually three years of living in Trinidad. With no TV to warp us I believed that was a way of life that everyone knew. We moved back to Charleston, then Monterey CA, Vallejo CA and then two years in Taipei Taiwan! I recently got to return 50 years later to spend 10 days over my 60th birthday. Amazing! We returned to Charleston when I was 10 and this is where I've been ever since. Although I had a real job for 38 years as a med tech, my fun job since 1983 has also been doing carriage tours for Palmetto Carriage. I take great pride in sharing our amazing city and helping folks to have the best experience they can here. When I was 16 I won an essay contest and my prize was a 47 day cruise on a freighter from New York to Casablanca, Tunis, Tripoli, Beirut, Iskenderun and Izmir Turkey, Athens and home. It was an incredible opportunity to see the world and enjoy a ship that only carried 7 passengers. Since then I've been lucky enough to be able to travel frequently and have done about 20 cruises including the Caribbean, 5 transatlantic, wine immersion in France, Spain and Portugal, Danube River Cruise, New England from Charleston to Montreal, Bermuda, Hawaii, and Trans Canal from LA to Fort Lauderdale. This summer I'm finally doing an Alaska cruise on the Star Princess. Many of the cruises I convinced friends to join us and over the years my passion for travel has evolved to a passion to help others to enjoy their dream vacations. Let me help you with yours.
