Vancouver Base. Global POV. Before becoming a Travel Consultant, Patrick (Paddy) Moore was a multi-media journalist and free-lance writer. For 15 years he traveled throughout Canada “from sea to sea to sea” with CBC News and Current Affairs before founding Moore Media in 1990 and producing stories for various broadcasters featuring stories from around the world - from the Atacama desert to the jungles of Zambia. His award-winning work has been screened on network broadcasters in Canada, USA, and over 30 countries around the world. The programs range from shorts to feature documentaries and series, with budgets from five thousand to five million dollars. He is a television producer, journalist, author, and writer. For ten years he was the Creative Director of BTV: Business Television on BNN. He is a frequent contributor to numerous magazines with articles about business and travel and for two years was also the editor of Canadian Investor Magazine. With his ongoing love of travel, Mr. Moore became a Vacation Consultant with Expedia Cruises, West Vancouver in 2021 to assist other like-minded adventurers explore the globe. In 2021 Mr. Moore also published a book, "Quarantinis Eh? Cocktails from the Pandemic" featuring forty daily tales and cocktails reflecting our isolation during Covid-19. In 2024 he published a second book, "Traveltinis: Around the World in 40 Cocktails", a lighthearted survey of some cities we love and stories about the cocktails that are special to those places.
