We had THE BEST time on our trip. Absolutely everything was perfect and we kept looking at each other and saying " Can you believe how great everything is"! Seriously it was amazing. The Emerald Princess was one big boat....wow. Over 3000 passengers and we checked in within less than an hour. So smooth. Our room was wonderful and we smiled as we unpacked and got ready to relax for 10 days!!! The whole cruise was awesome, the food, the service, the entertainment, the excursions, the time in port, it was all perfect. We got a couples spa package and enjoyed working out and relaxing in the thermal spa and hot tub. We've never done that before, but we sure will from now on. We went to that area each day as the ship sailed away from port. Great views. So as we were making our way into the New York harbor about 6am I looked out the window and saw the statue of Liberty and the New York skyline all lit up. We were just in shock to see such a gorgeous view of all of that, I was speechless. We checked into our Millineum Hilton hotel. We ended up taking a tour of the city with one of the best tour guides ever. It was a 6 hour intense tour of ALL of New York. Loved it. Ground zero was a very special place to visit. We feel blessed beyond measure for every day that we spent together. And we are very grateful to you for all of your insight and planning.....You did so much to make our time together special, and we also thank you for the gift of chocolate covered strawberries as an anniversary gift while we were on the cruise. They were yummy.....and so cute in their little tuxedo chocolate coats. :-). The best part for me was to see Pete totally relax for such a long trip. All of the planning we 3 did together really helped him to completely enjoy himself! Thank you from the bottom of my heart..... Kathy Barr
