l have travelled to more than 100 countries and territories, including: Asia: Burma (Myanmar), Cambodia (Angkor Wat), Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, India, Japan (including a 4-week cruise around Japan in 2019) and China; Africa: Egypt, Morocco, Madagascar, South Africa and neighbouring countries, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Namibia; South America: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador - including the Galapagos, Peru - including Machu Picchu, and Venezuela; also Easter Island! Central America: Panama, Mexico, Costa Rica; Caribbean: Bahamas, Barbados, Cuba, St. Kitts, St. Lucia and several other islands in the South & East Caribbean; Europe: almost every country, including Scandinavia, Iceland, Russia and most of the former Eastern bloc including Albania and Macedonia in 2014; Mid-East: Iran, Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Suez Canal transit, Oman I toured the 5-Stans (Kazakhastan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan) in April, 2015. Oceania: Tahiti, Australia, New Zealand. I have also taken several Land Tours with such companies as Globus, Trafalgar, Insight and several adventure travel companies. I have done river cruises in Russia (Moscow to St. Petersburg), China (Yangtze), Northern Italy (with Uniworld) and from Amsterdam to Budapest (Avalon). I have cruised on Cunard (Queen Mary 2 and QE2), Holland America and Celebrity ( Mercury, Constellation and Reflection) in the Caribbean and to Alaska, Royal Caribbean, and three Trans-Atlantic crossings. I enjoyed my Mediterranean cruises on the Azamara Journey in October, 2014, Crystal Symphony, Oceania's Riviera in April/May 2016, and Windstar's Wind Surf in 2018. I have sailed in the Caribbean on Seabourn, Silversea and Viking Ocean Cruises, I enjoyed a Paul Gauguin Cruise around Tahiti early in 2018. Upcoming cruises in late 2019 including a coastal cruise on the Norwegian Bliss, and a South American/Antarctica cruise on the Seabourn Quest. In early 2020, I will be doing an Asian cruise from Bangkok to Hong Kong on Silversea's Silver Spirit, and a 34-night cruise from Auckland to San Diego, visiting several islands in Fiji, Tonga, Tahiti, and Hawaii.
