I have been a part of the Expedia Cruises team since 2007. My love of travel brought me here after a very different background. Born in Vancouver and raised in Mexico City with a family of many nationalities, I have always felt a bit of a mongrel and enjoyed travelling and learning about different cultures and exploring the world. I went to a British School and a Mexican University while in Mexico, have a degree in Food Chemistry and Microbiology, taught Chemistry for a while at my high school, married and moved back to Vancouver in 1990. I have always loved Vancouver, love to travel but love to come home to Vancouver. Before joining Expedia CSC I stayed home with the kids and tutored high school chemistry. I find that using and applying my scientific background ensures that all details are covered when looking at vacation details.

We love travelling and have discovered that cruising is a great way to see the world, unpack once and enjoy who you are with in a relaxed environment. My best trips have been extended family cruises to the Caribbean and Europe, relaxing in an all inclusive in Mexico; exploring Paris and London with my husband , a fabulous Galapagos cruise with my extended family and last year a River Cruise down the Rhine with my husband. I have been to Australia to a cousins wedding and now twice to eastern Africa. I also enjoy camping in the summer with the family and dogs. I am often found hiking the North Shore trails with our two labs.

This love of vacations led me to where I am now, I very much enjoy planning other peoples holidays, trying to match one person or a group of people to have the time of their lives while giving them the best offers and value available. At Expedia Cruises we are always training to make us better at what we do.
