Growing up in Louisiana, my life was full of unique local cultural experiences, like Mardi Gras parades and going to eat delicious Cajun food, including my Maw Maw's home-cooked holiday meals! I also had family in Texas, so there were many trips to Texas as a kid, which I enjoyed! My world expanded as a young person, when I went on family vacations to the mountains and beaches.

What did travel look like for me as a young adult? Living in Texas, whenever I had the opportunity, I would take day trips. Texas wildflowers are a treat in the springtime, and so is the beautiful Texas Hill Country! In June 2001, I went on what felt like the trip of a lifetime! I flew from Austin to Seattle, rented a car to see Crater Lake in Oregon, and then took train rides back to Texas, which included riding along the Pacific Ocean in California! A Santa Barbara sunset seemed like a little piece of paradise! It was an amazing trip that helped me to have more experience traveling with planes, rental cars, trains, buses, and taxis!

I understand that details are important for any trip, and with my having traveled to Mexico and Canada, I understand they are especially important for international travel. I have lived in and traveled to tourist destinations, and I have had the great privilege of meeting people from all over the world. Each place I have been to has had its own beauty and I love seeing how different cultures live, dress, speak, dine….the world is not a boring place!

What are some of my travel dreams? I would love to travel all over the world on a yacht, making stops along the way to different destinations! If I had to pick only one destination to explore further while yachting around the world, it would likely be the Mediterranean Sea and its coasts!

I would absolutely love the privilege of helping a customer plan their dream vacation, whether it is to the Mediterranean Sea, includes cruising along the Danube River or to wherever they choose! There are so many options to choose from, when booking a complete vacation with Expedia Cruises!
