As our goal at Expedia is to have customers for life, I feel it's important for you to know a few personal tidbits about myself. Baby Boomer, Military Dependent, Civil Service Retiree, Avid Reader, Scrapbooker and Traveler would be the short and sweet of it! My early years were spent as a member of a career Air Force family, followed by adulthood as a career Navy spouse. As such I was afforded the wonderful opportunities of traveling the world from Germany to Guam, Kwajalein, Hawaii and cross-country trips six times (so far!). While living in these destinations, additional opportunities allowed me to experience Switzerland, Holland, Belgium, Italy, Austria, New Zealand, Saipan, Japan, and Hong Kong. I've experienced six cruises on different cruise lines with hopes of many more to come - five in the Caribbean and one to Alaska. Somewhere along the way I discovered the hobby of scrapbooking which started an unbelievable obsession with journaling and documenting my travels through scrapbook pages . . . we probably shouldn't even go there as it's a hobby I'm way too crazy about (fellow scrapbookers - I know you understand where I'm coming from)! My wealth of knowledge and personal experiences are invaluable with coordinating your travels and providing travel options. My passion for learning about new countries, cultures, cuisine, etc. is never-ending. I hold numerous certifications, among them graduate of the Expedia Cruises Academy, Commodore Status with Princess Cruise Lines, Cruise Line Industry Association (CLIA) Certified Cruise Counsellor, Cunard Captain Status, College of Disney Graduate, American Airlines Vacation Specialist, Norwegian Freestyle Expert, Holland America Cruise Lines Full Certification, Royal Caribbean's Expert Level, and Apple Vacations.
