My family and I have been boating around the BC Coast since 1975. In 1994, we took our first cruise on a much larger boat – Holland America’s Westerdam. This is when our passion for cruising began –the beautiful ships, the exciting ports of call, the many new friends we made onboard. We also discovered that as well as being a thoroughly relaxing way of traveling, cruising is much more cost effective than most people think. I have since been on many cruises on Holland America, Princess Cruises and Norwegian Cruise Line in the Mediterranean, South America, Antarctica, Eastern Caribbean, Western Caribbean and Southern Caribbean as well as the Mexican Riviera and Sea of Cortez. I have also been on a number of cruises through the Panama Canal and numerous Coastal cruises. I have fond memories of the many ports of call that we have visited over the years.
