After years of traveling to many parts of the world, I am excited to be able to use my extensive knowledge and experience to help others plan their travel adventures. I spent over 12 years living aboard in the Middle East and Asia as well as visiting 35 other countries on tours and cruises. I must say that the Alaska and Yukon cruise/tour remains one of my favorites because I actually got the opportunity to pan for gold like the old timers did during the Gold Rush. In addition, I saw grizzly bears and moose in their natural habitats while being delighted every day in Alaska's awesome beauty. A Mediterranean cruise to Egypt, Greece, and Turkey was also a special treat after having studied these places in school and learning first hand about their cultures. Viewing the Egyptian pyramids of Giza and Saqqara, observing how Greek carpets are hand woven from intricate patterns, and shopping in the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul were just a few highlights of that wonderful cruise.
