A few years ago, I moved to Wake Forest, NC after living in Pennsylvania all my life. I love everything about the Raleigh area, especially the wonderful people I’ve met here! Recently, a friend of mine suggested that I sign up for the presentation being held at the Expedia Cruises in North Raleigh because, she said, “this is the job for you!”
That presentation so inspired me that I want to use my travel experiences to help others plan their dream vacations. An even better inspiration is that I always wanted to be a travel consultant, and now – through Expedia Cruises – I am fulfilling that dream too!
I have almost 30 years of travel experience and I have to admit, I have a passion for cruising - 35 cruises and counting to the Caribbean, Costa Rica, the Mediterranean, Mexico, Panama, and the Baltic States which included two days in St. Petersburg, Russia. Of those 35 cruises, 23 of them are ballroom dance cruises. By the way, my other passion is dancing!
I was a travel companion to my mother from 1988 to 1998 and she loved to travel too! She loved doing the land vacations to Europe and the Middle East. My first European trip was to Italy in 1988 with my mother and daughter, and I realized then that I didn’t have to retire to travel.
So, if you are dreaming of your first cruise or planning your tenth, or perhaps planning a family reunion, I’m here to help make that dream cruise come true or that family reunion a vacation you will remember forever! My goal is to make your every vacation wish come true!
With the wonderful and enthusiastic staff at Brennan Station in North Raleigh, Expedia Cruises is your “one-stop travel shop,” and with the endless vacation possibilities Expedia offers, there is something for everyone!

We recently returned from a GLOBUS Iceland Adventure - 8 days from Reykjavik to Reykjavik, Air Inclusive, September 18, 2016 to September 26, 2016. Just wanted to let you know we are home and that we had a GREAT time!! Everything went smoothly. Loved Iceland and what we saw and experienced and couldn't ask for a better tour guide or driver. A number of our companions said that they prefer Globus to other tour groups and that they have never had a bad experience with Globus. And the tour guide and driver were both there through dinner on Sunday evening. That was when their time ended. Our tour guide made sure that all of the arrangements for transport to the airport were correct for Monday. This trip would not have been as wonderful as it was without the hard work of our travel consultant, Jo Lanni. She put together a package that reflected our interests within our allotted time frame. She reviewed the itinerary with us, made sure that we understood the country entrance requirements and the terms and conditions associated with the package. Any changes were brought to our attention as soon as she knew about them and she took the time to confirm these changes with Globus. Prior to our departure, she gave us a packet containing the planned itinerary, reviewed our travel insurance plan and answered any questions we had. This was our first guided tour and we would not hesitate to plan another excursion with her. Thank you, Jo! Debbi and Scott
