My love of travel started early. With a commitment to learning, my parents always found the means to ensure each of their six children experienced the beauty and culture local as well as distance adventures can provide. They took us on road trips including one from Kitchener, Ontario to San Diego, California. They also supported our individual explorations. For me this included a summer as an exchange student in Austria.

My love of cruising began as my husband and I looked to continue the tradition of family travel with our own children. Several times we had happily vacationed in the Disney Parks. We sought something new that could accommodate the needs of our son who is visually impaired. The Disney Cruise Line seemed like the perfect fit.
